First and foremost, please please check your trigger warnings. Your mental health matters and this story is d-a-r-k with a capital D. 

This is not for the faint of heart, not for people who want lovey dovey. This is dark, twisty, heavy, brutal, emotional, traumatizing.. do you get it? Okay good. Basically read the trigger warnings. If you like your books like that, by all means, forge ahead. If you forge ahead, you're going to love it. The story line and character development are chef's kiss. Savage is the author's last name,  but I think the author chose that as a pen-name for their writing style-it's plain savage. 

Fab book. Can't wait for book 2. Oh yeah. There's a book 2. Be warned.
