A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas

I have so many mixed feelings about this series. When I first started it a while back I adored it but now it's a bit iffy for me. I wasn't going to read this one but I saw it available at my library through Libby so decided to listen to it. It was definitely an experience listening to the abundance of smut on audio but that's beside the point. Overall I don't have any major complaints. It was enjoyable to listen to the audiobook and I enjoyed having more of a conclusion to Nesta's story and seeing her character development through it. I also enjoyed getting more of a POV from Cassian than we do from any of the other books.

I think my biggest thing was I just wasn't as connected to the characters so I just wasn't as invested in the story as I could have been. It was also just pretty predictable and I will agree with the points of the plot being sort of nonexistent and how some of the characters, mainly Rhys, treats Nesta kind of irks me but overall it was an enjoyable enough read.
