Just when I thought BEASTARS couldn’t get any better, Volume 5 completely blew me away! This was by far the most intense, suspenseful, and emotionally charged volume yet. The stakes have never been higher, and that cliffhanger? Absolutely brutal!

Legoshi continues to be one of the most lovable, reckless, and determined protagonists I’ve ever read. His decision to just walk straight into the mob’s den with absolutely no plan—simply because they have Haru—was both absurd and incredibly on-brand for him. This dork has no survival instincts when it comes to protecting the ones he loves, and honestly, I respect it.

This volume had everything: action, dark and suspenseful moments, romance, and unexpected twists that kept me on edge the entire time. It was a rollercoaster of emotions in the best possible way. BEASTARS, Vol. 5 is hands down my favorite in the series so far, and I cannot wait to see what happens next!
