The ending of the book was predictable, but I didn’t hate it. The audiobook narrator is awesome, she does so many accents really well, each character feels unique. The politics got a little hard to remember who all the C-list characters belonged to. It probably would have been easier to remember if I had read this right after the first 4. Like the other books, at times the plot meandered, but the characters and romance kept me engaged. I have one major issue that prevented me from rating it higher. Spoiler below.

Character plot armor. I get they’re all in life or death situations. However, “killing” a character just for them to come back, or “it was just a dream” drives me CRAZY. Either your world has consequences, or it doesn’t.
