3.25 stars - update 2.75 stars.

wasn’t a bad book, just sorta mid. i didn’t love the whole cheating aspect in this book because i didn’t feel as though the characters were meant to be toxic. i’m supposed to be rooting for their love, but mackenzie took a long time to grow on me, and even now she’s definitely not my favourite MC. 

cooper was nice, but not the best book boyfriend. idk what it is that fell a little flat with him, but i didn’t get a lot of butterflies with their relationship. 

i did enjoy the book overall though and flew through it since it kept my attention 

preston and mackenzie’s family (clones) were so insufferable. preston is just a joke to be honest, typical rich boy ‘my daddy owns most of these buildings’ blah blah. annoyed me so much, wasn’t surprised with him being a cheater as i wouldn’t expect anything more. 

bonnie was so cute, she reminded me of princess charlotte from princess and the frog
