Wow, okay well this book destroyed all my emotions. 😂 It's so rare for me to be able to finish a book in less than 24 hours but since I had the day off I just devoured this book. I read about a hundred or so pages last night and then finished the rest on this lovely Sunday. The only other book I've read in this series is Throne of Glass but after reading this collection of novellas I felt like I had such a better understanding of Celaena. I felt she was okay in book one but I wasn't like in love with her when finishing it. Though after reading this I love her so much more and in a way really connected with her. I also really enjoyed getting a better understanding of the world in itself. In Throne of Glass we're pretty much stuck in the castle but these stories are told in a couple different places and I enjoyed that. I'm now so excited to dive more into this series. 💗
