Going off of the other books we knew Mitch was going to be hard to love. I knew his story would be heartbreaking and I wasn’t wrong. I was already tearing up with the first chapter. I cried and sometimes sobbed throughout this book. The sheer apathy he had for going on at one point when Gideon found him at home just broke my heart. I’m so glad he was redeemed and got his brothers back. It was great to see Magnus get his brothers back as well. As always, seeing Caleb & Whitt and Emery & August was great too! Love Emery and his whispered conversation to his cinnamon roll just before he ate it…”I’m going to devour you.” Highly anticipated book and so glad it lived up to my expectations. Great job!!
