Confessions of an Alleged Good Girl by Joya Goffney

I loved it!! I love how connected I felt with all the characters and how relatable it was. There was parts in the book where I teared up because I understand what Myracle and Mo was going through with their family.

I found a deeper appreciation for black authors as I don’t think I’ve ever read a book that speaks to me and the experiences shown as the norm in black culture.

This book was so funny, it had the perfect amount of romance between the main characters. It felt very mature for a YA book. I really enjoyed the overall message of self acceptance and forgiveness. How you shouldn’t change yourself for anyone.

My favorite romcom at the moment
