This book has been on my TBR for way too long! I fell in love with the title over two years ago, and it's an absolute crime that I waited this long to actually read it. It was 150% as good as I had expected! I was terrified because I'm a complete baby and horror is something I avoid in general, but I'm glad I sucked it up for this one. I don't like stories (movies or books) that are JUST scary without a point or just for shock value. This novel WAS absolutely dark and creepy, but it also had some amazing characters with beautiful relationships that I was super invested in. I will definitely be reading more of this author in the future.... in the middle of the day with all the lights on.
