I wanted so badly to love this book because there’s nothing I enjoy more than a good haunted house story. But no matter how hard I tried or wanted to get into it, I just couldn’t. I found it boring and long and actually found myself avoiding reading it which I NEVER do! The idea was so promising but something about it just fell flat for me. Nothing about it made me feel anything other than boredom sadly.
