Absolutely wonderful middle grade book!
Beautiful story in verse!
The author captured all of Ellie with such grace and compassion and power - Ellie has flaws and she makes mistakes but also loves and hurts and develops herself into someone anyone would be proud of.
This empathy-builder offers another window/mirror experience for all readers!
It definitely is still a middle grade book - kinda of along the lines of Wonder.
