Finished this audiobook yesterday. It’s a fun urban fantasy. The greatest strength is Jacka’s writing voice; that’s in spite of the reader not doing the best with the female characters’ voices (I think he did the best he could with his voice, but I still found it distracting). Definite shades of “Harry Dresden” here. Sadly, that includes a certain amount of misogyny, which is the only reason I’m on the fence about adding the next book to my TBR.
