I got 20% through this book and knew I had to buy it one day to mark it up with sticky flags and underlines and notes in the margins, to have on my shelves to pull out at any time because holy SHIT. This book has the tight construction and singing prose of an intense labor of many years, something written over and over again, revised over and over again. I can see the work put into it and it sings. An insightful, heartfelt book about abuse. 10/10 would experience again.
