Yes, it took me a while to finish this beast, shush.
I can see why Dune is such a classic, but oh boy it was hard to talk myself into picking up the book and reading. Could be the reading slump or my small brain trying to process all the political information. Dune is well written, a lot of details, characters feel real. Did the politics and religion got away from me a bit sometimes? Yes. Do I wish there was more action and less talking? Also yes. Will I eventually pick up the next book? Hopefully. But I will take a break and read something more chill.
