Lunar Park by Bret Easton Ellis
5.0
An extraordinarily beautiful novel that veers deftly between the hilarious, the terrifying, and the sublime. Lunar Park demands that you meet it on its level, but it does an amazing job guiding you to where it needs you to be. Don’t fight it. A book for anyone worried about how their past sins might affect their current family; Ellis does a remarkable job giving voice to the existential fears of the aging-former-party-guy-turned-father, and Lunar Park is like an ice pick of angst and terror aimed directly at your psyche.
