So, personal reading pleasure would rate the book 2 stars - it was okay. I liked it in parts and I found some other parts dragged, too wordy.

But!

Plot wise and idea wise and structure wise - it's a 4 stars, so I'll go with the happy middle.

There is a lot in this book, a lot of baddies and some horrible things happen. There's police investigations and twists. There is also a lot of tragedy and trauma.

Top it off with a small element of what I would call 'paranormal' and we have a book to spend time with.

I just would have loved to have spent more time with Graham, off the grid... :)
