I don't really think I could do this book any sort of justice with my review. I don't have words to properly explain how fantastic this book is. One of the best novels I read this year and definitely one of the best queer horror books I got my hands on. With its unique take on the haunted house, it's raw, visceral, and doesn't pull any punches. It's not a light read. It will gut you open with its honest portrayal of a specific kind of ugliness in this world. It's about fascism, trauma, hate, and different kinds of self-harm. I have only praises.
