Thank you , finally we have the word explained and how magic is there! So it is like a pocket world in ours but separate from it. Good that helps make sense of why everyone seems to do magic. Getting this many books into the series I am used to the main characters and they have become more likable. I still swear Jolene only solves things accidentally and mostly by telling the person who did it how she figured it out but also not knowing she is telling the real killer!

The dynamic with Daisy is a bit better in this book. Hopefully it will be less annoying now that things settled more there.

The romance or whatever is typical and runs pretty predictable. I am hoping we see more of the underground and shifter elements in future books.
