Ren has grown up in a homestead. She has never held an iPhone or attended a real school before enrolling in Corona College hoping to make new friends and learn a lot. Enter Fitz, who by all appearances is a spoiled rich kid for whom everything comes easily. In class, they send their DNA to a company and it comes out that Ren's father might not be her father. She hears that Fitz is traveling from Spokane to Nashville which is closer to her biological father, who lives in Atlanta. Together they are embarking on an adventure that will change their lives.

This is my first Christina Lauren book so I was really excited. My thoughts were that it was good, but not excellent. This book was cute but the middle part felt too long, I don't know if it was too long but it felt that way. I thought the intro and the ending were good but I struggled a lot to get from intro to end. Something that I found interesting was that Ren's "not like the other girls" attitude actually made sense. This is the one time I'll let that part go because she's not like anyone else. I also really liked Fitz, I thought he was such a good character. Overall, I think the characters were really flushed out and that some parts were really good but unless you are a big fan of Rapunzel, I don't think I'd recommend.
