Down Comes the Night by Allison Saft
I've been contemplating how to review this book for a long time now. This is a well-crafted easy-to-read YA novel. It hit every point I expected it to from start to finish plot-wise. However, while doing so, it lacked the little extra that would make me love it. My largest problem was that this isn't a type of book I typically enjoy. The romance felt forced, and I enjoyed the mystery.
Things of Notice: Bisexual main character, enemies-to-lovers.
I really am here wondering, do I give it 3 stars, but that doesn't feel right either. 4, even tho I don't enjoyed the reading experience that much? Nothing feels like the right star rating yet! I will come back and rate when it feels right! However, I can say I enjoyed this read a lot more than A Far Wilder Magic.
