The Warning by A.J. Wills
3.0
I am willing to give the author another try with another book.
While I'm trying to be sympathetic and understanding of the main character, I found her to be unlikeable. I really tried to understand the trauma she has gone through because I have been fortunate enough to not be a victim of DV. I desperately wanted her to be somewhat of a heroine but I just cannot fathom anyone being that gullible. I found her to be unrelatable and sometimes annoying. I did finish the book quickly, so it couldn't have been that uninteresting. However, I am not sure if it's because I cared about Megan's future or because I just wanted to complete the book.
I will say I did not see some of the plot twists coming, other than the ending. That is why I'm willing to read another book from AJ Wills.
