This one took me a bit to get into - I wasn't super in love from the first line. But it picked up, and it brought me along for the ride. Overall, I ended up quite enjoying The Prettiest One... and it helps that it was free via (formerly) Kindle First. I'm definitely open to giving another James Hankins novel a read!
