I just finished this book and I'm just filled with happy thoughts right now. This was so wholesome, so HILARIOUS, so great! Cannot recommend enough. Even better than the first book. I would give 6 stars if possible. This book will be in my all time favorite romance reads. I was laughing out loud so many times, and that hasn't happened while reading for quite some time. Liv wants to take down this predator (hate him) and needs the help of Mack, the founder of the Bromance Book Club. The wit and the banter between the characters, and not just the main ones, is just perfect and on point. I don't know how to write a proper review so close to finishing this book so I'm just gonna list some of my favorite things from the book:
- Mack is such a good guy, like a proper good guy gentleman kind that is hard to find
- I love Randy the man-hating rooster
- Sassy feminist Rosie is a badass, I want her as my own landlady, friend and bonus grandma pls
- The Russian guy cracks me up, he needs his own book pls
- The way Hop tackles people as an ex-cop is hilarious
- I also ship the Russian and the chicken, they truly have build a bond
- The Russian packing snacks on a mission is the kind of friend we all need
- I love when they announce grand gesture time
- Again, the Russian, that's the only reason to read this book, he'll make you laugh out loud for real
PS. Can I please be an honorary member of the Bromance Book Club?
