I didn't think things could get darker after A Darkness More Than Nightm but they do. This one was heart-rending. Luck, the system, family, friends, everyone failed the vic. It was actually difficult to continue because it was painful. Not for the faint of heart. Was good getting back to Bosch's PoV, and he delivers.
