The Soulmate Equation by Christina Lauren
4.0
Super cute book that made me make bad choices and stay up all night reading.
This book started as a grumpy x grumpy and turned into a shy nerd x stressed mom. I liked how even though there was a little character development, mostly in the developing trust department, it really was a book where it wasn't the characters who changed, it was the perspective. First impressions are not always the most important, or right impressions.
Jess and River's love story really bring into question whether you are more likely to fall in love with someone if you are told you are meant to be or would that put too much pressure and ruin it before it even started. I also love to read a book about a good single mom, doing everything she can to make life work and be good for her daughter, but learning that she can live for herself as well.
