Lots of action in this one and a very enjoyable read as always. Chet and Bernie end up taking a road trip to the mountains of Colorado to search for a missing child after being hired to protect the child's mom. The only inconsistency in the story line is how inept and trusting Bernie is in his financial life and how he's such a good reader of human behavior in his private investigative duties. The guy is a West Point graduate, give me a break. Living payday to payday as an idealist is getting old. I'm hoping Suzie and Bernie will hook up for good in the next installment.
