I’m not a dark romance fan, but this book managed to charm me. If you’re squeamish, it’s likely not for you—but there was enough banter and romance and story to balance out the darker stuff for me. I almost bailed after the graphic descriptions in the first chapter, but I’m glad I stuck with it. Haven’t decided if I’m going to continue the series yet.
