I read The Kingmaker for my Blackford Book Babes book club, and I was not prepared for what I got! I especially didn’t think I would need to read the second book, The Rebel King, immediately afterward! This duet isn’t like any romance I’ve read before and, while it wasn’t exactly a win for everyone in the club, I really enjoyed Maxim and Lennix’s story and recommend it.
