It's over??? :(
okay so, listen, this book was cheesy as fuck and the end reminded me of the ghibli "whisper of the heart" because why are they promising forever to each other, when they didn't fucking know each other for a long time??
Apart from the end tho, I really liked their interactions. They know each other so well & are attentive :) And I love tension and yearning, sooooo
The dialogue was witty and fun and I adore the friendships that were portrayed. LIKE SERIOUSLY THE FOUND FAMILY IN THIS ONE??? >>>
The themes discussed we're layed out in a very placative way sometimes, but honestly, they are important so a little exaggeration is fine with me.
I just kinda clicked with the book and I'm not sure that would be the case for everyone, but I enjoyed it so, so much. I could even motivate myself to do math homework because I would read this book in the breaks and stayed up late multiple nights and went to school sleep deprived in order to read a liiittle more.
nah truly tho, this book is all about forgiveness, vulnerability, confidence, self-discovery, empathy and love and it just makes you feel good :) even tho some of the topics are not quite feel-good-material, but rather serious, so there was some substance involved
