This is my first ishiguro but now that I finished it I wish I didn't start with this one.

The book follows Klara, an AF (which is a kind of droid) and the way she sees the world and people. She's an optimistic and hopeful and her observations of the people around her and of human behaviour were really nice to read and carried the whole book for me.

However this was short lived and the second half of the book was extremely underwhelming. There were so many interesting ideas and very few of them were  explored. Nothing interesting actually happens and the plot goes no where really.

Underwhelmed but I will still be trying out more of his books.
