Characters aren’t likable. They grow in the story but they grow from one 2D figures to a slightly more dense 2D figures. They’re like lacroix, hinting at a flavor (personality) but never arriving. Like bad acting. On top of that, they’re annoying. It’s as if they’re staring you in the eyes, begging to be loved but as soon as you reach for them they becoming limp and slippery. They are eels with big, wet eyes.
