4.5. It's definitely in the same vein as Bookshops & Bonedust, which is anything but a bad thing except that it invites comparison and it is not quite at that level. Still a wholly enjoyable read and does the thing of kind folks being kind for no other reason than they can - which is always a big crowd pleaser for me.
