Spicy Read with a Dramatic plot line

This book is from two points of view. Ava and Alex.
Alex is haunted by his past and has a hard shell and many walls put up to protect himself, and others from him.
Ava is the opposite, despite her past she is a ray of sunshine, always seeing the best in people sometimes to a fault of trusting the wrong person.
Ava is young and in college. Her brother being her “protector” but her brother is leaving and asks Alex if he could watch over his sister while he is gone to make sure she stays out of trouble.
Alex reluctantly agrees.
Alex moves into the house beside Ava to keep a close eye on her. Ava and Alex start to grow closer and they both grow attraction, she know she shouldn’t. Its her brothers best friend. But they help each other with their pasts.
Alex is helping Ava overcome her phobia and regain her memory from a traumatic childhood. And Ava is helping Alex break down his walls and prove that it is okay to feel emotions and see the good in the world.
Grumpy x sunshine and brother best friend trope all in one.
This was definitely a spicy read (and not for the faint of heart) but overall a cute love story and a plot meant for the soap operas making it quite a fascinating read.
