it’s tooooo loooooong, it feels like a 16 year old wrote it, it’s politically whitewashed and also weirdly revisionist about russian colonialism???

I wanted to love this bc the concept is great but I’m begging the publishing industry to let go of the idea that authors need to publish as young as humanly possible bc this story deserved so much better!!!!
