“IMPORTANT: If you checked items #7 (he’s in his thirties and still on the market) and #13 (he suffers from either psychiatric and/ or cognitive troubles), we must advise you to reconsider your choice. Unless you’ve also checked #2, #5, and #17, in which case your insane boyfriend is rich, good-looking, and capable of sustaining an erection without medical help. Keep him.”—Aurelia Nichols & Jillie Bean, 101 Tips to Catch Mr. Right

i didn’t care much for the main plot this time around ngl, i got a lil bored. but just like the first book, comedy is on point and you’ll still be engaged to some degree with this novel; it’s not like it’s egregiously drawn out or long anyway. i go back and forth on how i feel about island as a main character… i think she is quite impulsive and naive to a certain degree but we get to see her yell at march(DESERVED) and also that fucking FREAK alex.
i kinda wish they took that more seriously but w/e… this novel has never taken itself like super seriously so i guess it would be strange to expect it to stay serious for more than a page, huh?
