I already knew how amazing this musical was and a little about how and why it was created but after reading this book Hamilton amazes me even more (I didn't​ even know that was possible.) It was so incredible to see in depth what went into creating this, how people felt, how it made people feel, etc. I also adored the footnotes for the songs and seeing Lin-Manuel Miranda's thought process while writing and of course the absolutely gorgeous photos scattered throughout this book.

Overall and absolutely amazing book and if you loved this musical you will LOVE reading this book.
