Y’all I could not get enough of this book. It was a slow go to get it started, but Isabel fully transports you into this mysterious Cairo that she paints and FULLY wraps you up in Inez’s life and pov. Lots of yelling and screaming on my part, audible gasps, it was all that and a bag of chips. I waited 6 months for this book loan on Libby and my gahd it was worth it
