No One Tells You This: A Memoir by Glynnis MacNicol

3.0

A really great memoir about a single woman in her 40’s. There was a little more meandering through stories I didn’t care about, stories I didn’t think related to her experience as a single woman. There were a handful of really poignant quotes about being single that I really liked, and maybe I was expecting more of a “self help” vibe than a memoir vibe. Overall I liked it, and it’s nice to read about someone in the same “unconventional” boat as you, and bring attention to the fact that it shouldn’t even be seen as unconventional or not normal.
