Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly

This drew me in immediately after the first chapter. Historical mysteries are my favorite (Anastasia, the Princes in the Tower, Billy the Kid, Roanoke) so this book was more than my cup of tea, it was my giant fox mug of tea. That being said, the characters are easy to become attached to. Vijay, the best friend with a study focused mother, Andi, our cynical main character, and, my personal favorite, Alexandrine, a girl whose only goal was to free the prince she was in charge of.
