7/8/18 - I just finished ny reread of this! I mainly listened to the audibook for the entirety of the book. She isn't my favorite narrator and I didn't like her at first but I got used to it. Rating and thoughts are more or less staying the same.

After reading the A Court of Thorns and Roses series and falling in love with it I knew for sure that I had to pick up the Throne of Glass series. Overall I really enjoyed this book and I'm super excited to read the rest of this series. I will say this wasn't as exciting as I was hoping, but obviously it still kept my attention. I will say that I teared up a little at the end, and kind of low-key felt like screaming at this book (the good kind of screaming though. 😂) I can't wait to see what happens in the next books. 🎉🎉
