This was a fun beach read with a hint of suspense. I really enjoyed the small lake town vibes and all of the nods to Canadian culture (especially the house hippos), as well as the anxiety rep and the way that the characters actually talked to each other rather than jumping to conclusions. 

I do wish that the suspense has been just a bit more intense. I felt like all of the situations were wrapped up fairly quickly without giving the reader enough time to actually feel the tension. But otherwise this was a super fun summer read!
