this is my favorite book of the series so far. i don't give books five starts often but i felt like cress deserved it.

cress and thorne scenes gave me life. cress was already in love with him when they met and her feelings didn't change even though he wasn't exactly kind of person she thought he was. i just wish we had had more romance between the two.

Kai didn't annoy me as much in this book like he did in scarlet. it annoyed me when he decided to marry levina but he's just trying to do what's best for his people even if it means marrying the person he despises.

AND WE FINALLY GOT REUNION BETWEEN KAI AND CINDER. i'm suprised how quickly kai believed that cinder is luna princess though. i mean she kidnapped him 🙈

i felt so bad for scarlet and wolf. wolf tells her he loves her and not long after she's kidnapped. scarlet has to deal with lunas and wolf is having hard time doing anything without his alpha.

i liked the little sneak peak about winter and jacin. Jacin helped Cinder for her and he's her only friend besides her wolf. Winter is so worried about him when she asks scarlet about him.
