I tried to like it. I really did, because I love Tijan. Some books are a hit others a miss. This was a miss. The idea for the book was good, the execution not so much. I didn’t mind that the book was all over the place, or that it was extremely hard to understand what was happening when Cheyenne was the narrator. I was okay with that because I understand that is her character. I don’t mind when authors write the characters thoughts out in detail.

That being said, it got boring, tedious and repetitive. Due to how repetitive it was, I found myself skipping chucks of paragraphs since nothing important was happening.
