Pedro is a Mexican American boy who loves Star Wars and superheroes. He can’t help but feel like he’s not “Mexican enough” because he was born in the States unlike his older siblings, but a big family road trip to Mexico grants him an opportunity to explore his heritage. Set in the 1970s, this phenomenal graphic memoir is both hilarious and heartbreaking, but most of all an endearing family story. Super engaging and with lots of text, kids of all backgrounds will eat this up!
