This one landed a lot better for me than Grace. The tone seemed a bit less silly, and I liked Clara just so much. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about a book from Istvan's pov but I  enjoyed that as well! T Kingerfisher really gave us a romance that is so balanced and though I don't think narrative foil actually applies here the vibe feels right to me so maybe it does apply here.
