Before reading (listening to) this book I watched The Inventor on HBO and listened to The Dropout podcast by ABC News. So I thought I might be bored retreading the Theranos story.

Not so.

John Carreyrou just blows me away with his reporting and storytelling. For a man who does financial reporting I was so happy with the descriptions and narrative of this wild story. I especially appreciated the shift to first person about 2/3 of the way through. I loved the journalistic insight to his actual dealing with Theranos and Holmes.
