Night's Shadow by Daniel Beazley
3.0
In Night's Shadow we finally get some answers to all our questions - the most important one is probably Lucius' past and wheather he killed his wife and children or not. But of course I won't tell you anything about it, if you want to know you'll just have to read the book!
Again, I really liked the action scenes and the fallen angels we met throughout the book. I actually grew to like Holus, even though we didn't even know much about him. He just seemed to be interesting and the fact that he's a Watcher made me curious and left me wanting to know more about him. Oh well, didn't get the chance though. *sigh*
I wish there would be more of a connection between Lucius and Sepherene. I mean, they share his body and of course they talk a lot but ... I wish it would be a bit more personal. I know Sepherene isn't really capable of emotions but Lucius changed her as well, so I'm desperate for some deeper, emotional talks between them and hope I get them in the last book, Dawn of Hope.
