Wes is a football player who had announced his retirement after the upcoming season. When he got home after the press conference he was met with divorce papers and his wife of over a decade leaving him and his three childern. She didn’t even say goodbye to the kids.

After thinking about how he was going to handle being a single dad of three and continue everything that is needed for his career, the smart thing was to move back home where his parents and family are so they can help. After struggling and advice from his mom he asked Betsy to be the kids Nanny as he was desperate for help. She agreed as she really enjoyed his kids.
I always enjoy Chelle’s books. All the characters express their love or their intentions almost immediately but there is always something that challenges their love that they have for each other. This book is no different. Wes knew if he were to follow his heart he was afraid what it would mean to his kids if they went sour.
