LOTR vibes, betrayal, and secret-induced plot twists! First book in the trilogy - bit of a slow build but left me wanting the next book like yesterday đŸ¤“ I enjoy Pacat’s writing style - it’s clever and methodical but so easy to get lost in. 

Note: I listened to this on audible - the narrator (Christian Coulson) was very good.
