I want to love the book more, but this one gives less impact to me.

1. Some important characters weren't mention for so long.
Long chapters, as usual. However since the series introduced us to multiple of characters with their respective tasks, they tend to ignore those characters' stories for so long and when they bring that up again it felt like out of a sudden. And like the ending, em -the coven's whereabout weren't known until the next book

2. Minor spoiler + complaint
Is it just me or does anyone has the same question, why does no one ever question the Japeth  about his whereabouts when Rhian was Tedros' Knight any further? Are the rulers in every kingdom is that daft? (Idc if he's not important to them but that's bothering me) And a lot of them were suspicious of Lady Gremlaine, if she was the twins' mother but why Teddy never questions about that before they discovered the truth, like idk, that can add to the pile of the questions for the characters to solve. (Why would he kills his own mother? Is she was really their mother?)

3. My main complaint
When they reach dead ends, there will always be the characters from a non hostile place will save them, too perfect timing but- I'm sorry, that's quite too often throughout the series but i want to put the blame to this book only shsh.
- also, rhian supposedly be the cunning one but once he was being dumb at sudden and there's the twist.

4. Sophie's getting smarter though. Love her. Although some of her previous actions are not acceptable

Only 1&2 are relevant, the third point is just the thing i take personally.
